Anxiety, panic attacks, depression
Through an intensive therapy, we will help you to get rid of anxiety, depression, phobias or panic attacks. We will teach you how to avoid these unpleasant and burdensome conditions as well as how to recognize the triggers. We will teach you techniques that will alleviate or completely eliminate the symptoms of these diseases. Depression and anxiety will no longer control you, instead you will be in control of yourself.
The therapeutic process includes the following: self-knowledge, discovering the causes of the disease, finding a way to eliminate them, setting the necessary regime measures, acquiring relaxation skills. If necessary, it is possible to invite a partner or a family member to take part in the therapy.
Substance and non-substance addictions
We provide professional care to people who have addiction problem of any form: using alcohol, legal or illegal drugs, gambling, workaholism, shopaholism, staying in a relationship that hurts, or other compulsive behavior. Our therapeutic approach is based on the following principals: diagnosis of addiction disorders, assessment of problems, identification of triggers, education, counseling, coaching, motivational therapy and training of necessary skills. We treat our clients in all phases of their addiction problem - people with mild problem, but also with a serious one. The aftercare program is focused on preventing relapse, correcting social relationships, acquiring work habits, or solving debt problems.
Eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa) have much in common with addiction. It is a mental illness associated with the compulsive need to lose weight, ie not to eat, exercise to the maximum and increase energy expenditure, or, on the contrary, to overeat, then vomit and use laxatives or diuretics for weight reduction. Addiction can be spoken of in these cases in connection with the recurrent compulsive behavior that accompanies these diseases. Affected people try to relieve mental problems with extreme eating habits that harm them. Eating disorders are often accompanied by self-harm, drug use, depression, anxiety or suicidal tendencies. The treatment needs to combine psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care, which we provide to disabled girls and their parents.
Crisis life situations
We will help you to overcome difficult stress life situations. During our therapy, you will find a safe place where you can openly talk about your fears, suffering or grief caused by divorce, illness, the death of a loved one or work problems. We will help you to get rid of the stress associated with important life decisions, study or other failures.
Our crisis therapy is a short-termed form of cooperation, in which the client usually attends 1-5 sessions.
