Mgr. Kristýna Šorfová (Kubíková)                               addictologist, therapist

A graduate of a single-major academic programme in Nursing at the Medical College in Prague and in Addictology at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. She is a certified therapist in motivational therapy, relaxation techniques and crisis intervention. She also underwent a training in First Aid in Cases of Anxiety Disorder, Panic Attacks and Depression. She is a certified therapist in eating disorders treatment. She is also an experienced therapist that has been working in hospitals as well as in private practices specialized on addiction treatment and treatment of other psychiatric disorders over the last ten years. In addition to this, she has gained a vast professional experience in social services (social and debt counselling). She accepts adult as well as adolescent clients. Her main focus lies in providing treatment for clients with dual diagnosis (an addiction illness combined with a psychiatric diagnosis - psychosis, depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders). In the past, she has been also treating homeless people. The therapeutic sessions may be held in Czech, English and Hebrew.
